So very true. For all the brillant saves he made during the game, the 2 howlers will forever be etched on his mind, cos people will only remember these 2 crucial mistakes rather then some of his brillant saves

I believe Liverpool lost the final cos some of the players were not mentally strong. When Salah was on the field, the team played as a real cohesive team and threatens whenever they go forward.
But that was not really seen after he was replaced and to me the biggest flop (aside from Karius disastrous mistakes) was Firmino. The penetrating runs stopped and they were not really creating much of a threat. Lalana is simply not match fit and could not influence the game. In fact the way the crowd reacted when Salah came off the field injured said it all. They simply over relied on one player and Klopp must quickly recognise this flaw. Nonetheless, credit to them for reaching the final and losing to an experienced team of Real Madrid's calibre. Maybe a lesson JM should learnt too??? Last edited by lenghan; 27-05-2018 at 11:55 AM. |

Klopp has lost 3.finals and very clearly too overly reliance upon one player and high chance Klopp will sell Salah to continue building his team.
Anyway wish Salaah a speedy recovery and be ready for the WC 2018 Also iBale was the surprisinly omitted fr the 1st team as he is the player in form and not Isco Last edited by loveikan; 27-05-2018 at 07:30 PM. |

Agree
Salah is a real hidden gem. But dont know if they will loose to big spenders again or not... if barca and rm makes an approach might be too difficult for him to resist... not many are as loyal as ryan giggs or stevie g these days.. |

klopp has a good history of blooding youngsters into the 1st team. When he was the mgr of BD, he won the league titles with a group of youngsters and a few established players to lead them. Over times he was also forced to sell the good players too mainly due to BM's strategy to weaken their competitors in the German league. I felt Klopp is one of the managers that defitely has no qualm to groom youngsters into the 1st team just SAF. He has proven himself in the German league although the last 2 seasons of his times there were very challenging. He is showing his mettle with the Reds now with a few good youngsters playing for the team now |

Ahhh...that's makes more sense than the earlier post.
Thinking why w/o rhyme or reason u said Klopp will sell Sallah just to rebuild. Think they shud find all means to keep him...No reason needed, he's THAT good. |

Reckon the established teams with good financial backing will begin to rebuild their ageing squad.
Those outstanding players will be thrilled to join them for monies and glories. Hope woody can act on fast in the transfer market.😃 |
