simple or not simple sometimes say only...how simple is simple? how chim is chim?

bubble filter is used when u dun want to disturb the parameters...let the color slowly build...its not wrong to use bubble filters too...I seen many that just got one air tube in the tank...no filter....but still red

looks simple but the idea behind the whole concept is not simple

how to know when the water is bad?
how to know water is gd for red or gold?
wat temp to keep?
how long these water are aged?
Aged with wat?
can last how long?
when need to change?
how much to change?

all these above questions will lead to answer to simple water simple enuff?
Master Kage, not simple to me leh........very cheem.

ur shifu and shi shu are the most eligible person to write one...

but I feel there is still a lack of knowledge and wide disbelief in certain systems and a vast gap between the various fish keepers

Why there must be a distinction to spilt the filtration methods to : Kois, Aros, Marine, Planted

once the logic behind the diff filtration methods are understood it is easier to use the tools to your own situation

In fact I had wanted to speak to u on this but its not appropriate at all to comment

use the right tools for the right job tats wat I would have to say...u had all the prior experience in Kois, these basics are very essential and it doesn't automatically downgrade u to "noobies" when u translate to Aro keeping

If really so simple, 2 lines can explain liao tio bo?

cos diff sys uses diff pattern to tweak...no ONE for ALL solution for all the various tank setups and aros

pardon me for saying too much...my style always lidat hope u dun mind...I seems to be crashing ur thread in other angles
you are right to say there isn't a 1 for all solution. There are too many reasons behind it cos you don't know how the set up, history of the fish, the enviroment in that place and list goes on. Only if it's my fish I will be able to tell you why it's like this or like that cos I am with it for years, external and internal factors is in my finger tip.

I think koi water is more suited to XB water. Red water is something totally new to me, but very facinating to learn.
