give it another 3-6 mths, you will run out of space. try to get a bigger tank. at least 4ft for 9 pcs in order for them to grow to their full potential.

that will be great. try to keep up with large water change with your current setup while you get a bigger tank. the cheaper way is get those plastic tubs.

For 5 GFs, is 3ft ok? Trying to post a WTB thread in the accessories section but unable to do so. =(

1) Minimise temp shock: got to get the temperature of the fresh clean water to be near the to-be-changed water, 2) Minimise chlorine/chloramine poisoning: the fresh clean water needs to be aged or well aerated with water conditioner 3) minimise ph shock: have the fresh clean water buffered with bicarbonate of soda. Each one have their preferred way..got to trial and error to get your best way of handling. |

Bro here already explain on things to note on 100% WC. My Tetras living in the same tank has no issues with 100% WC as well. |

My recommendation for the media will be Coral chip and Bio-home(Red).

5 GFs in 3ft is ok, try not to add anymore, I would say at most 1 more. If you can, stick with your 5 GFs in the 3 ft for maximum growth. Generally I find getting a 3ft in Marketplace is not that hard. Happy GF keeping! Cheers, Jenson |
