T5 Light

My T5 light set does not have a transformer or ballast. It's direct electrical source. Does that means a much higher watts T5 tube can be used? Currently it has 4 20W tubes.
I want to tan my red aro, which tube should I change to?

There is a ballast hidden behind the reflector. .. remove reflector you'll be able to see it. .

Oh is it? So i do I know what is the highest watts Tube I can chg to?

Also i have a Aquazonic T8 underwater red light. I'm also thinking of changing the tube to one that is effective for tanning. What is recommended?

will t5 be good for crossbacks? i'm currently using LEDs
