Lightings turn yellow
Hi all ,
Im using T5 underwater light for my tank. The color of the light is white but the light reflected is yellow. My set up -4 sides black oyama paper -2 piece driftwood -White small stones filled euro bracing. Is it the cause of the white small stones that causes the yellow reflection? Any bros encounter this before ? Please help. Thanks. |

depends... after the driftwood has completely leeched its tannins then wont already. however i dont think those two small pieces of driftwood are driftwood. most prob bogwood. cause usually two small DW wont cause ur water to yellow till the extent that you have described.
an alternative would be to try doing Water change and remove DW if still got yellow tinge then u know its something else. did u try cleaning ur lights? sometimes plastic will yellow after sometime hence causing the perception of yellow lights.. |

Some people like it because they imagined it to be the same as the natural habitat where their fishes came from. Some abhor it. If you belong to the second group, it's best to get rid of your driftwood. As long as your driftwood is in your tank, there will always be that yellow tint. |
