Yea i've raised Afros before so i now their feeding habits. They are my favourite fish afterall. It's just too bad i don't have the money to buy 15 pieces at one shot like Chinmo did! I'm happy as long as one grows up healthy.

i had tried a comm of african aros before. they don't do well in a comm,
there will be surely a bully, that overcome the others, therefore making others african aros not feeding, thus leaving others to die 1 by 1. best is to keep just 1 in a relative spacious tank. try feeding frozen cube brine shrimps 5 times per day easily obtained in every fish shops. you will be amazed by he growth rate. mine grow from almost 1.5 inch per month. all they need is more meals in juvenile stages |

This guy was the dominant one so he terrorized the other two day and night till' they could take it no more. I feed them about 3-4 times a day, 1 cube of FBW per feeding.

There is a LFS at Yishun Blk 700 plus (can't remember the LFS name, in front of th shop has a nice garden setup) that is still selling this fish (saw it last week). The uncle (staff) is quite knowledgable regarding Afros. Those who are interested in Afros and stay around Yishun might want to drop by.
