Up up so everytime the male is separated with eggs, when its dropped back into the pond it will choose a female again?

i sort of forced my make to pick pne female, but im thinking if i should make other females available, though i prefer his pair to be with current pair.
Hope theynlayneggs in pond, womder how long itll take
