Wow Peter,
u went in without telling us
excellent pieces!!!

What I realized is that black tank may enhance the red core tone : I have 2 pieces that stay most if the time in the black area where red gravel is not present & they are darker & more red than the paler tank mates that stay in the gravel part of tank

Hehe, they are new ones...really very nice fishes.
The only problem I have is, I don't know what they are!

Initially got only a few to try out, then one week later went back and saw there are still a lot left and decided to take in some more.
Earlier batch of 11 gold masheer are doing very well, growth rate a little slow.

Looks like tor putitora . I could be wrong; but I was told its source is from Myanmar. Try to feed them a mix of Hikari Growth (sinking pellets) and mp. Works well for me

Ong and Spakase show hand.
I will add my collection here too. Total 18 pieces - Reds, golds and some from c328 labelled as red but grow up having black tail (same as those mentioned by spakase). Have some more in another tank.

My other tank have 11 kelahs a mixture thai blue, tor duronesis, tor putitora, tor tor and 2 other indonesian kelah speciment i think it's another sub speciment under duronesis genus. Thinking of getting another 5 pieces of juv thai blue later this year.
