Sorry to say, that's the "Netz" variant Ben, not Tefe

In Tefe you will see clear parallel zigzag lines along the side. Body typically tends to be white in colour as well, though not all the time. The parallel zigzag lines are the defining trait.

With "Netz", each scale will seem to be surrounded by a darker colour outline, which makes the side of the body look like "netting" material, hence the variant name "Netz". Body colour of "Netz" tends to be blue with darker blue/black outline on the scales. The "Netz" I owned before also had the red patch on the top of the head, and less colourful caudal fin (dull coloured markings on the tail, vs usually more brightly coloured markings on other variants of agassizii), similar to yours.

Just as a comparison, you can see the parallel zigzag lines from this image (taken from Google/RVA) - very different from the markings on yours:

Hey guys,

What do you guys feed your fries? My A. Borelli fries just started swimming (more like bouncing on the gravel) in the coconut husk since yesterday, mother fish still haven't brought them out. Should I start feeding them now or wait till they are really free swimming or when the mother fish bring them out for a stroll?

It's day 9 since spawning todaay.

Get bbs eggs and hatch yourself.

Or decap bbs mix with water then just feed direct.
