I dunno how other bros do it, but for me I usually unpack and give them a good rinse, before putting them in my plastic tank. Throw in my cheapo betta (to eat any mosquito larvae) and place them where there's ample sunlight.

Before feeding my ranchus, I'll rinse the duckweed thoroughly again and put the remainder into a new tank of water.

how do i rinse the duckweed?lol,i noe its stupid question to ask but theres too much duckweed liao..

And some bros suggest putting guppies to eat mosquitos larva..but the surface of the plastic tank will be covered with duckweed, meaning there are minimal oxygen dissolved and how can ur guppies survived?and if u dun put fish to eat the larva den it will breed..and "if they breed, you'll bleed" sounds familar

I usually put them in a net (those you use for scooping goldfish) and rinse them. Once done, then pour the duckweed from the net into your fish tank. Easiest way.

That's why I opted for my hardy betta.
