I think add horn snails better. Oto and SAE may not survive with your cichlids.

Otos are actually otocinclus. They are fantastic for planted tanks as they are small and do not destroy plants. But they can be a little sensitive. For your cichlid tank, i would advice normal plecos (cheap suckerfishes) as ur cichlids will most definately attack the poor oto. Get a suckerfish a little larger than ur cichlids to prevent harrassment. As for SAE (simese algae eater), they do great on different types of algae when they're young but once they tasted fish food. thats it. u gona have a fatty in the tank. no more algae eating.
ha.
Hope this helps.

I've tried apple snails b4, died due to high pH.

But CF introduced me the normal plecostoma which they themselves are also using to clean their tank, marvelous cleaner and hardworkers

Love them mate!!!
