Very nice rays! Do you know how the royal galaxy turn out if you don't keep them in a white tank?

Someone here in Canada was selling a pair for $5000 but I hear if you don't keep them in a white tank that less spots will come out. I wonder if kept in a regular tank on sand they would eventually turn into just nice P-14's? Still a new ray in the hobby and I haven't seen how adult Royal Galaxy turn out as adults?

I would say the spots would shrink in size if the rays weren't kept in a white tank. Lighting and genes play an important part too
