Daniel Sturridge completes loan move to West Brom
Liverpool can confirm Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan until the end of the season. The striker will spend the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign with the Baggies after finalising the deal today. Sturridge, who recently marked five years with the Reds, has scored 63 goals in 133 appearances for the club following a transfer from Chelsea in January 2013. This season so far, the 28-year-old has netted three times in 14 outings for Liverpool. |

Why Philippe Coutinho has returned to Liverpool
Philippe Coutinho has returned to Liverpool to say goodbye to his former Anfield colleagues.
Spanish publication Sport report that the Brazilian playmaker came back to Merseyside on Monday via private jet after his new club Barcelona – who he joined for £142million earlier this month – gave him time off in between Sunday’s 2-1 win over Alaves and Thursday’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg at home to Valencia. Coutinho is said to have wanted to leave “good feelings” with the Reds despite forcing through his dream move to the Camp Nou. The article states that the 25-year-old former Kop idol will meet up with his Liverpool pals on Tuesday – but given that Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to Huddersfield Town for a Premier League fixture that evening it is unclear just when the gathering will take place and what kind of event it will actually be. Angels Fabregues writes: “Coutinho, his wife Aina, and his daughter Maria went on Monday at noon to Liverpool on a private flight landing a couple of hours later to what was his home for so long. “This Tuesday a farewell party is scheduled to be attended by the entire staff and technical staff of Liverpool, as well as the most intimate friends of the Coutinho family. “It will be a nice act to say goodbye to all those who were part of their environment during their British adventure.” |

If no replacement coming in then really madness. In tough fight for top 4 and still in CL, and we’re left with Ings and Solanke as backup to Firmino?
Wah piang! Heart attack every time Firmino gets tackled. |

Better to loan and sell Sturridge then keeping him and not playing him.
