Your current light with 72W is just enough for a low light tank. If you plan to get riccia and other more light-demanding plant, then you need to upgrade your lighting to about 200W if using PL.

However, if you decide to change to a highlight tank, please read up as much as possible on planted tank knowledge. You can read up the articles on the Aquascaping Resources and Articules Forum plus other websites. Make sure you understand what is required before spending all your money. Otherwise you will be facing much more problems than algae on nana.

Hi fishy will,
Sorry for the late reply...
There are many types of plants for your tank. Too many to mention. But first of all your have to get a fan to lower down your temp. Best below 28 or even lower. From here you can try alot of plants for your tank.

Cheers!

Hmm... Nana plants is a very hardy plant.
Did you plant them in the sand or your nana is attach on the wood?
If you plant them directly in the sand will cause them rotten.
How long is the nana in your planted tank aready?

Cheers!

if u want to have them in the sand, tie to wood and bury the wood... but leave the nana rhizome (the part where new leaves appear) exposed.
