That's the thing with crossback, you really take a bet on the crossing. I waited for mine till almost 60cm, not fully crossed too.

And I do have a friend who was like yours and it crossed after 45cm. Life is a biatch! Have hope bro!

Be patient as your xb is still growing and developing, just make sure to maintain good water parameter, constant water change and regular feeding will help.
