Natureman Dragon Join Date: Jun 2003 Posts: 1,204	How to know when to WC How u know when to do WC of tanks? Some hobbyists swear by smell of water. Professional ones will test nitrate levels and decide. I test water TDS meter. Just dip TDS meter into water and check reading. If high TDS then time to WC. Also will let me know how much to change.
