The indicator fluid on the inside needs to be topped up when it turns transparent. Maybe about once in 2 months or so. I think the whole bottle lasts you 6 months?

And the soil used was ADA Aquasoil Powder. Very expensive.

I think most stem will grow very tall one. Maybe you can try non-stem type.

Btw, what is your lighting? 9 watt?
30 x 22 x 22 cm.
Clip on filter.

Lighting is 11 watt, now I've boosted it with another 8 watt florescent light bulb set bought from ikea, so it should be effectively 15 watts, which brings it up to 5 watts per gallon.

15 watts per gallon, issnt that way way too much? got any algae problems?

I got a 30 by 17 by 17cm tank, lighting it with 9 watts, i already feel that the wattage might be too high, i hope i dont run into algae problems.

Thanks.

hey bro..

is 5watts/gallon.. not 15..

IMHO, 30by17by17 seems a good size for 9-13watts.... depends on your plant type also la..

Not sure about what plants(none co2 demanding), as it will be a non-cO2 setup, coz gonna be on office table.
