Hi mate,

You can get calcium supplements from places like C328, pet stores or bird shops. They come under a variety of brands, more commonly ones like ZooMed etc. You can also try dried cuttlefish bone grinded to a powder consistency. As for calcium applications, you can gut load your crickets before feeding them to your frogs. This means feeding them vege scraps dusted with calcium powder. Alternatively the other method would be dusting the crickets itself upon feeding time. I myself prefer the first method as that conditions and plumps up the crickets with all the natural goodness of the vegetables and calcium.

Regards,
Phillipe.

You can try unfertilized garden soil mix mixed with coco husks. Compost works well also. Just remember to use this as a top layer. Coco peat is another good medium to utilize too. For the bottom layer, it's best if you laid leca pellets (clay pellets or hydroton). This is to ensure proper ventilation amongst the bottom layer as well as giving the top layer of soil/ compost to 'breathe'. Just make sure you have a lining of separation between these two. A plastic mesh works well for this. (Can be found at any hdb hardware shops, sells by the metre). If you can't find any, try Home Fix. They have them by the rolls.

Regards,
Phillipe
