Hi guys, I have a L190 that housing same tank with some pseudas. I had been feeding those pseudas with MP and I saw the 190 is feeding on the MP as well. So issit ok for panaque to consume meat?

Is it a must for Panaque to have wood? Websites always say they need the wood to aid food digestion. Last I had one, it choked up the filter in a couple of days.

They are scavengers in the wild, eat what comes their path apart from wood.

I find wood is a must have, well it's their main digest food .
If they chew wood, to me it's healthy And they grow faster with food and wood. Well my BEC grew from 10" to 12" in a year plus |

mine are comm with rays/aros/discus etcetc so they eat everything n nything... tetrabits to bloodworms to mp but i make sure i feed hikari alage pellets or other hard veggies like zucchini / snow peas twice daily as their main diet. i have driftwood in the tanks too but i dont even see them bothering with it much if at all.... in the tanks with sponge filters they rather park there than the driftwood lol.
