Granted... it shouldn't... but at one point i had PNTs and they were realllll messy eaters.

Or maybe it's simply coz of the high flowrate. I'm a sucker for higher flowrate.

So which cannister filter chosen? Thinking of restart a 3ft for planted, same like you.

Get eheim pro 2 series like 2028, now can get quite cheap from hobbyist. For pro 3, I find that the hose adaptor is very fragile, internal valve very easy to break.
