Default Plant with shrimps

May I know what plant is that which is usually sold with shrimps ?
Normally the lfs put 1 or 2 stalks in the bag.....

i saw many pics of tanks but the bros usually replace this plant with ricca or grass....

Hi bro. Its most commonly 1 or 2 pieces of Java moss they put in the bag.

its not moss.....long about 6cm to 15 cm, looks like hydrilla

I guess you are talking about hornwort. Very hardy plant, grows very fast, good nitrate absorber.

any local name ? i tried this name as a few lfs but they told me was tai yang chow or sun grass.....

weird thing is that my shrimps tend to climb on to the only 5cm piece that came in the bag.....
comes down to feed.....

Hornwort = 金鱼藻 (pronounced as jīn yś zǎo).
