Nah all is good bro. Chances of eggs spoiling while the mama shrimp is still carrying them is very slim, close to zero chance. If egg spoil she will drop them
I think the eggs just change color. Sometimes cherry shrimps eggs also turn from green to orange. |

Hi TS,
Is the bamboo shrimp you are keeping atyopsis moluccensis? pic from: http://www.petshop-zoomania.com/Shri...censis%202.jpg Unfortunately, if it is the above shrimp, the shrimplets are most likely not from it. This is because the eggs of these shrimps hatch into zoea, afterwhich they have to undergo several moults for the zoea to become shrimplets. For this proccess, the newly-hatched zoea also require saltwater to survive. Hence, i guess even if the eggs hatched, the zoea wouldnt survive and the shrimplets may belong to the fire reds. |
