Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Bichirs. I just recently bought a Delhezi and an Ornate.
As they are both still juveniles, only about 9cm in length.
Care to share some information on their care and what to feed them?
Also, I've seen from the pics of the bichirs posted here. There's red sand in some of the display tank pics. May i know where can i get the red sand substrate for my tank?

I was at C328 and managed to get myself some black oyama paper and also quartz red sand by ans. As per mentioned in previous threads. Cant wait to try them out n see how it looks for my juvenile bichirs.

Hi bro...del,ornate and most upper jaw do not need red sand to colour up...but they do look good in a tank set up with plant/wood...btw can you post some pics of the Ans red quartz sand in your tank ?... Thank you...

Oh icic. Its k. I just got myself a juvenile endi bichir from aro ave. and a random juvenile bichir from c328 for 2bucks. Shall post up a pic of it for id. Think they will look good on the red sand. Oh my.. bichir has poisoned me..
The red sand is about 1red n 1green note.
I'll snap a photo of it once i set up on my smaller tank later then.
