Don't think the plant on the right is an aquatic plant. The plant on the left still has the wool wrapped to it. Got to be careful as sometimes the is some ferts or so tied along with it and can be harmful to the shrimp.

The plant on the right is a bamboo...wetland plant, not underwater plant. It'll rot after awhile.
Lead is poisonous, tie the plant to a rock if you want to prevent it from floating but that plant should have roots if your soil is able to hold it. Remove the cotton as well. Like Cheetf said, there's may be ammonia based fertilizers and even copper based anti-algae chemicals in it, not good for shrimps |

Hi all,
Gonna post new pic of my shrimp tank soon.. It will look more messy i would say after getting all the plants and stuffs tt not gd for the shrimps and adding new inmates to my tanks. Take care
