Ur congo is bored bro because the tank is completely empty..you need some decor in the tank for it to explore. Sand, lava rocks, plants and stuff.

And 4" is not a giant YET... Will take some time to grow larger. This was my 6" mama... It was living with a short-bodied frontosa and a birchir. They were together for at least 6 months.

I cleared them before my NS. And a crazy Monotrete baileyi. Totally regretted selling the baileyi. That was a totally insane fish.
Here's a video of him. It flattened and crashed himself against the tank wall, before turning around and puffing itself up.
I've got some videos of my current congo too. Will try to post them up later. Currently only about 3". |

Nope... No spots on him, at least not any that I saw. It was a sandy brown colour at the shop and turned a dark brown back at home. Currently using white quartz and will be throwing it into the 2ft tank after new year. Hope it lightens up when I've changed it to river sand. |

wow nice puffer videos that congo sure looks fierce.
shagy382: im also waiting for fahaka season, any rough idea when do they usually arrive? i think its really hard to get a super red congo, i think so far most of us only saw 1 that is super red in pufferpedia. Probably can try putting in some red sand, so the congo might turn redder as it try to blend with the substrate color? |
