Going low tech
Tank Size: 2 feet 5 plan
Water Capacity: 10 gallons Substrate: River sand (I think) Filtration: 20 watts 1000/h canister Temperature: Average 30 degrees Lighting:FL 15 watts Flora: Cabombas, java ferns. Need id for plant on bottom right.. Fauna: 3 albino corys, 3 pairs of endlers Added the plants mainly as hiding places for endler fries, the plants are growing well despite the high temp.. DIY-ed the output for the canister, its a 3' long rainbar with holes at intervals of about 1.25 cm. Many tiny bubbles floating around. Is that harmful in any way? All comments and advice from bros on this chapalang setup are welcome Taken under three different lighting conditions Last edited by Ingwe; 09-04-2009 at 12:38 AM. |

Good idea.. was considering riccia, but I'm quite sure the temp is too high for it. Are there any more heat tolerant alternatives?
