Forget to update. Haha. Took the pleco out and pluck out the worm already. No sign of any worm growing now.

Have tried parazin p basically the p stands for pond. Higher concentration but if you follow the volume calculation it's ok. It's meant to treat pond instead of tank but I prefer to use p because I can use a small dose for bigger tank. If you do a quick search you'll find that it contains Diflubenzuron plus some other. For this Med it's better to do two treatment. Usually after the second treatment it will fall off. Didt have an issue with the cherry shrimps dying when I used parazin p but everyone's tank is different/or maybe it is slightly less concentrated. I find that the tablet form turns to powder after a while. Maybe some issue with the binder.

The active ingredient Diflubenzuron is a insecticide and it is harmful to shrimps basically insects with exoskeleton. Quite useful for fish lice.

Alternatively I've seen koi users using dimilin(Diflubenzuron) and got mine(powered form) at the Koi farm in Pasir Ris.

Just my 2 cents
