when setting up a new tank, i used water from my mature tank (i remembered doing this twice to fill up the new tank as changing alot of water for my mature tank will prolly stun the fishes there) then i added waterlife medications, parazin, sterazin and myazin. i use myazin frequently in the beginning. of course allow a few days in between and parazin last. all this while i used feeders inside the tank. none died. for a few years, no ,dead, fishes due to known or visible diseases. i also use trace elements in liquid form to stabalise the ph. added psb bacteria as well. after the tank has stabalised, only myazin is used as a continued treatment for water.and i use em sparingly as in once or twice a mth. i can throw in live feeders including tubifex and have never seen any round/anchor worms. tats jus abt it. it really worked for me. |

guy, ive finally see the lil fellow eat.
i off'ed the tank lights at around 2200. then jus nao, when i was abt to shut down and go to sleep, my monitor's light showed sbkm swimming so happily. i dropped a few hikari carnivore pellets into the tank and he ate like 7 of em to make sure he had ate em i turn on the aquarium lights and the food was gone so it means sbkms eat when light are off |
