Submerge pump for 3ft x 1.5ft tank
Hi all
Just want to enquire if my pump is too strong? Boyu submersible pump model SP2500 Power: 34W Hmax: 2.0m Qmax: 1400L/H I have so many fishes all suck to the pump and dead..... If this is too strong, what size should I get? Thanks. Shirley |

I guess your tank height is 1.5' so it should be around 180 liters of water.. I think it's too strong for the tank.. normally 3 to 5 times is good enough for me..

what fish are you keeping? if tetra or small fish then get a flow rate of 800lph should be sufficient.

How you know its not the other way ... die already then stuck to the pump?
Your filtration/bioload is also another possible factor. |
