Default my 1st IBS for my new tank: a 5" Freshwater Dorado (Salminus Maxillosus)

saw this in a LFS cant resist the temptation. so i asked for price. then try to bargain abit n got it at quite a gd price.

cant keep in floating box. its very fast n active. some more now still not so stable. will dart ard when startled. floating box too cramp for it.

it's really nice when they reach abt 2ft.. the golden colour is damn solid..

Very nice fish. Saw a big one in QH, estimate should be at least 16 inches with very nice yellow color. Very tempted to buy as well.

thanks.

this species can grow up till ard 3ft (maybe ard 2ft in tank) n is quite an aggressive fish.

if patient enough, this fish when adult, is golden yellow in color... hopefully we can see that in ur hands bro....
