i don't think the tank just cracked without any signs, maybe there already a crack caused by a impact. Poor sillicone bonding worksmanship will result water seepage, that what have happened to my 1.5 feet front curve tank from china. Anyway, glad that no one was hurt during the disaster.

Glass tanks last forever if its lined up and not tilted in any direction or somthing that bumps into it. These days the silicone also last forever if you use proper ones and not 10p/tubes.
15 years for a tank is nothing, if its built corectly and lined up. |

It comes complete with cabinet cover with light, sump tank, pump, pipes and oyama paper for the sides and back. The delivery person takes care of the GST, transportation and disposal of old tank, cabinets etc... Think I got a good deal.

I really did not see any cracks before the incident. It is already more than 8 years old. I'm lucky that it didn't happen after work like what Fanaromatic said.

Though i'm staying in JB, malaysia and there's nothing wrong to buy aquarium made in malaysia. BUT it's a taboo to transport aquarium over long distance. Especially big aquarium. |
