Noise level for moving bed filter

Hi All,

I am using K1 media on the main tank powered by hiblow baby , but find it quite noisy .

Thinking of changing to biochip if it is more quiet . Anyone try both before ?

noisy is due to the bubbling or the knocking of the k1 media?
So far im running biochip for both my 6 ft tank, i will say the sound is more from the bubbling from the air stone.. if you wan, u can come over to my place to listen and compare..

I believe you since your tank is bigger than my tank .

Noise will from the bubbling.. not the k1..
I would suggest u lower the air pump but ensure k1 is rotating slowly.
Too fast, bb will take longer to cultivate as there is always contanst knocking.
