sweet potatoes, barley, and other food for KOIs
hi KOIs lovers,
i read in this forum that some people feed sweet potatoes, barley, and other food to KOIS. do they eat sweet potatoes, barley?? cheers, |

Barley yes, but never heard of sweet potatoes. Stuffs such as lettuce, apples, oranges and water melon are quite common in the western countries, for koi as supplement. Because they strongly believe in Vitamin C

Sweet potatoes uneaten will cloud water so must give minimal they can consume..

I tried barley before last time. Bulk up the kois fast but may cause pot belly if fed too much of it.

Hi-Silk 21 have package that they said contain sweet potatoes in pellet form. I have try it on my koi and they like it.

for barley i assumed that it's cooked type right?
I have tried fruits but fail to make them take any of them. |
