The only fish I can think of that can benefit from daily water change is the discus fish.

For fishes like aros and other big fishes..i rather tag on good filtration..

Rockster, from your ex at QH, maybe you can advise us on whether it's true that fish farms change water twice a day for all their fishes. Thanks.

Agree with Bro RockyGoldy. Good filtration (Mechanical, Biological and Chemical combine) is the best...my is planted tank and when your tank becomes an ECO system within itself. There is no need to change water, just top-up.

My planted tank had never have a water change since July 2003, just top-up. All my fishes are fine till they are eaten up by the Jardini as it grows bigger. My current Aro tank does not have a water change for the past 6 months. I know many Bros will disagree, but this had been my experience.
