Collected my Bio-motion today...sharing some pics....
The sample... Rinishing the medias with warm water followed by tank water...Noticed that the medias float on the water surface.... Placing the medias on the upper most portion of my IOS. Did a 70% water change. Did not notice any changes in my water clarity. PH of my tank remains constant at 7.1..Will do more updates soon.... |

Hi! Happy Chinese New Year to all.
Credits to Wilson and Reinbiotech for giving a chance to take part in the Bio-Motion Trial. Tank - 6 x 2.5 x 2 Sump - 4 x 1.5 x 1.5 with 2 x Eheim 2260 I have been using Biohome+/ Biohome for quite some time and upon collecting the 1L pack of Bio-Motion, I can feel that its lighter as comparison. Let me start with the experiment. - Skimz FM100 FR - Eheim Compact 1000 - Bio-Motion 1L Pouring 1L of the Bio-Moition into the FR. Filled slightly half of the chamber. Connected the piping and officially the test trail starts. As the Bio-Motion is very light, it has all floated onto the water surface. The pump was then turn on and the movement of the water creates a circular motion flow for the Bio-Motion in the chamber. Water Parameters tested: PH: 7.0 NO2: 0 Currently the water in the tank is rather cloudy, will update soon. |

notice my bio-motion 'broke' into small pieces.. and water was very cloudy
understand it has to be around or more than 80% fille as its not really required to be moving around too much.. so i remove them and place in my OHF liao.. testing still now |
