Three of my Corydoras resting after a meal. I love how they rest on the wood, it justifies the expense of getting such beautiful wood.

By now, all of you would have noticed the substantial algae that I have growing on the wood. I do not really mind it as it does lend the scape a matured look and it also helps that not all the wood are infected. The contrast between algae covered wood and those that are not is nice. However, I am trying to get more java moss growing and in time, I hope to clear this tank of any sign of algae with the moss as its replacement.

bro you should try removing the BBA first, otherwise your moss will not take hold

Actually its not true for this scape, my moss is taking over territory from the algae as it grows.

Alright, here is a half decent FTS of my current scape and stocking. When I took this picture, all the corydoras decided to go into hiding, it was as if they knew that they had to give the cardinals some of the limelight as well, with the recent slew of their pictures. Haha.

The main reasons behind the rescape was to create a layout that will look good with cardinals swimming around wood branches, free up more bottom ground for the corydoras to rest and create a greater sense of depth with the puny 15cm I have.

The java moss is unruly at certain parts of the tank but I am give them time to anchor themselves into the wood and grow before I start to trim them.

Also, I really need a better camera soon, so that I can give everyone a better picture of what the tank really looks like in real life. I have my eyes on Sony NEX!

Thank you bro, coming from a tanga guru, it means a lot!

Yes, it is really a pleasant sight to see the cardinals swim between the wood. It's tranquil and peaceful, it takes my stress away.
