Today I took a bus from near Sim Lim Sq to Novena Sq. The bus was driven by one of these, with a trainer by the side, guiding him the route.

Whole journey passengers swinging side to side as the bus swerved side to side. Sigh.

Thought all these while training is in an empty bus?
Since when training is with loaded passengers? What if accident happens?

But since he drive till "Whole journey passengers swinging side to side as the bus swerved side to side", seems that his OJT phase also half pass six only.

Young msians are better educated now and not to mention Msia are not short of jobs for them. Those not so highly educated will want jobs with prospect or where they can learn a set of skills.

If really wanna get msia drivers the salary has to increase with a basic of $1500 in this way maybe can get msian to work on avg of 2 yrs. Turnover will definitely be high as most will change job after 1 or 2 yrs. So eventually we need to bear the increased in cost because salary of bus captain is major cost in bus operation.

This is kind of jobs we have to accept not much Sporean and now less msians are willingly to work unless salary is further increased.
