HDB builds more flats, records higher net deficit

Even if HDB records a deficit, they should look at overall. I am pretty sure end of the day, the overall Singapore budget will still end positive.

Even if it is a loss. So what! They need to then learn to be more lean and efficient in their way they do things. Isn't that common with any other MNCs.

One needs to scrutinize the so-called losses........the loss incurred was what the land would be worth if it were to be developed commercially.......not due to poor management or construction or flats.........
