Default PVC pipe without glue.

Hi guys, is it a must to put glue on pvc pipe to secure it?
Or it doesn't need glue at all?
I'm running it on eheim 1262 to OHF.
Will the PVC suddenly pop out from the elbow? (I maybe using 3three elbow)

Be careful. Test first before installing to the main tank.

From my experience, secure does not necessary will be leak proof.

Use glue but also introduce this kind coupling like this to ease removal (when needed):

or can introduce 2 of such elbows instead of those right angle one:

Sorry ar...

Can I ask how this works?

I've currently a PVC pipe for return flow into tank.
So is like Elbow - directly slot in the PVC pipe.

PVC pipes have holes drilled to help wif aeration within the tank w/o wavemaker.

I have guailan fishes who will knock the pipe out to get my attn.

I've been using without glue and just white tape. Might have leaks so like the rest says you have to test for leaks. I'll just a hammer to gently knock the pipes to secure it. Didt have an occasion where the pipe comes off but if you feel insecure just glue it.
