Default UV Filter for Planted

Any bro here use UV filter? I thought of getting one because my water always turn cloudy 1 day after water change.

My tank is cycled already, measurement last night Ammonia, NO2 & NO3 all Zero.

Or is there any remedy for cloudy water?

hi,
uv sterilizer is for treating green water condition. just let your tank water cycle naturally and the cloudiness will go away in a few days.

I assume your tank is already mature. If so, by rights the water change shouldn't produce much cloudiness, even if it does, this cloudiness should go away in a few hours. UV won't help here. There's something else causing the cloudiness, but I don't know what.

during the water change, did u disturb the gravels
then again, the water shld clear up after a few hours

wat kind of filter are u using?
do u pour in the water straight from the tap although chances of it
causing cloudy water through killing of BBs is quite minimal in this case

getting UV sterilisers will not help in clearing up water
its used as some sort of a preventive measure for algae and also helps in
ridding green water not cloudy water
