Space limitations primarily. The corner where I have my tank is barely able to fit a 4x2 tank. There's also a half-height wall behind the tank that I don't want to exceed. Hence, the cabinet is only 50cm high. Tank is also 50cm high. Can't fit any decent sized canister filters in there with only a usable internal height of around 40cm. Same problem with a sump. Put in already, hand cannot maneuvere to do maintenance.

Only viable option is OHF, but will exceed my wall height. So I'm trying not to do that at the moment.

Rely on technology (OF Hydra 50) to maintain water params. The Tunze Comline Streamfilter is purely mechanical to polish the water a little bit.

Was told that the Kelberi was a bit stunted. So what else can I do except.. Feed. Feed. Feed.

You should hold off feeding. It is usually recommended to starve him for 3 days min when there's a change of environment.

I was actually feeding my arowana. Didn't think it would start feeding so fast. Regardless, if it wants to eat, no point stopping it?

In any case, I do think the arowana has bulked up a fair bit since I bought it. Quite happy.
