I believe in democratic process. This is not North Korea where the throne is passed down.

They can prepared all they want. Ultimately this is subjected to election and to lead the party and government, it needs the support of the party and government colleagues.
If all these more than above average Singaporeans are prepared to support that whoever one person, I believe that's the best candidate to lead..

If we have children that are really so capable, ask them to step forward.. if not, accept the best that have stepped forward to hold public office.
