Still there. Except on weekdays less shops open, quiet. Weekends then busy. Still can see all the pets shops there not just fish.

Chatuchak weekend market is not open on weekdays but weekdays are better days to shop the pets area (including fish) are fully open after 1.00pm. Some shops open late and if you go in morning, they may not be open yet. I usually go on weekdays and I just went 2 weeks ago. The fish area is behind JJ mall, not really in Chatuchak.

Can bring home if not CITES or banned in SG.

CITES we need go AVA maxwell Rd get permit before going overseas to bring back.

And if small enough, may even succeed in hand carrying back without check in. Succeeded once in bringing.back a louhan frm Phuket by putting it in small 2" by 3" ziploc bag of water, once on-board quickly went toilet and filled up a big bag with washroom tap water, treated with Save powder. That was exciting.
