just checked my sump, the water in the sump is crystal clear but the main tank is not.

Anyone know whats the problem in my tank? is it the over flow in my tank not strong enough?

currently using eheim 1264 pump and i turn flow from the pipe to 1/4 so the flow not so fast cos it will make my soft plants go hay wire

sump is smaller compared to maint tank with not much light illuminating it thus it looks clear.

Can i check with you, do you use CO2? Will the sump diffuse the CO2 injected and defeat the purpose of injecting CO2? I am thinking of setting up a 6ft tank and was wondering to get it done with sump or not. Reason is when i grew tired of planted, i still can switch to arowana.

For your cloudy water, I guess after few days it will be clear.
