Default Vodka Dosing: Method to reducing nitrates & phosphates

A Powerful Method for the Reduction of
Nitrates and Phosphates within the Reef Aquaria
by Nathaniel A. Walton (Genetics) and Matt Bjornson (Stony_Corals)

This article is by Nathaniel A. Walton and Matt Bjornson. It describes the method of dosing vodka as an organic carbon source to reduce Nitrates & Phosphates. A powerful skimmer is a must have if you choose to use this method.

I have personally dosed vodka using this method and have seen reduction in nitrates and phosphates.
