actually depends on how fat the ray is. if fat plus u throw in feeder fishes when u are away shd be safe. But first ur ray must have the mass to substain the no feed period. More then 1 applies. for mine my female tend to be slower or more stupid in getting the food. always follow behind the male.

i think prawn/cockle and mussel is a good staple diet for rays

glass/ghost shrimp is also very good if the ray will only take live food
wish my ray take mussels coz so much cleaner and cheaper. haiz, cockles foul the water easily

for PDR i noe in tank condition more then 18"

What's the size of that one in PR? Is it a male? Looking for a big male to accompany my big female.

if my motoro is sucked by my FF...and certain part of the body is lighter in colour....is it gonna be ok?
still eating though...
have remove the FF liao...

no worry bro. i oso encountered the same problem on my ex motoro rays. by removing the FF, the colour of the disc w back to normal v soon..
