Update
Some brown algae grown on the rocks as well as some portion of the HC. Didn't realise until last week
Maybe due to no water change at all since start up But HC growth rate still fine. Now become very thick. Already started to change water last week and putted in 2 oto to clear up the brown algae. So far already clear up 60% of algae. Here's the picture... |

The small portion HC that overgrows the rock gives a very natural feel. Nice touch there.

bro dont mind i ask. when u plant the hc, do u just plant the whole thing in ? usually it comes in tied to a white kind of filter media rite ? so do u just bury the whole thing into the soil ?

im a big fan of HC .. totally amusing layout.
im currently looking for rocks similar to yours. possible to recommend places to hunt? |

separate the HC into portion of 20 cents to 50cents coins and plant them 1-2cm apart. Never plant them with the pot and wool
