Default pre set up for shrimpies


any suggest wat plants to put in foreground?

No gravel? It's better to have gravel, especially in a shrimp tank. Forgot the actual name of the symptom now, but shrimps need to have gravel of a bare tank floor.

If this is a non-CO2 enriched tank, you would probably use E. Tennellus, moss or perhaps just some mini nanas to create a shape.

do some rearrangement how abt this

do i need to shut of the co2 supply when lights off?

It looks much better with gravel

Its best to switch it off when the lights are out.

Wow, what difference the additional of gravel makes.

I presume you do use a manual regulator on your cylinder? Anyway it's better to turn it off. If your budget allows you can probably use those electronic solenoid regulators that save you the hassle of switching it on and off manually everyday.

the setup look nice.
I not sure about the gravel color? If you want to keep shrimp, i think that color gravel does not match well.
For shrimp tank i prefer black gravel as it can better bring out the color of the shrimp.
Or you can go for the white gravel?
