I think the small rock at the centre looks damn crappy.........

erm.....take away the rock in the centre n see wat's the effect....
it looks kinda out of place. would like to see more wood than rocks.....

Default Gex soil and Leca.

[Step 7

Pour in the leca then followed by the GEX soil]

Hi, can I know where to buy the Leca and GEX soil. I am new in this and hope u can share some infor.

Will it cloud the water if I gonna make the water flow to somewhere for fish keeping. hmm..dun really know how to explain. like two layer kind of thing. top for plant and bottom for fish.

I bought the leca at a nursery..any shop that sells plants will have leca. Im very sure uve seen it before. Its those round brownish clay pellets. As for GEX soil, i got em at SeaView Aquarium which is near my place. Im also sure any good lfs will sell it. Comes in packet forms of a kg or 2.

As for clouding, i dun know as this is only my first vivarium setup but theres many bros out there who use leca and Gex, and still keep fishes at the same time, so i dun think there should be any problem. Anyway, Gex is widely used in shrimps and planted tanks.

Hi, I brought this Nisso soil at C328. will use this for the plant. Do u think it's good?
