Got one packet too.
Think this is more for mechanical filteration to be placed before/after the wool. The guy claimed that it will break up the waste.

I was told the same thing by the sales person at Seaview too. He recommended my the Silver Ion Active filter cause I told him I was looking for Fei Fong. He said together with the Waterilfe ammonia removal, I dun need FF cos no algae for it to suck on
I'm also searching for review of this product.

Unfortunately it is not as established as other filter media. Hence nit much review on it. For that kind of money I may well be spending on European ir US products that are more established and proven.

I think what deterred my from buying the azoo is the shell life as it can only last for about a year...

the seaview guy also told me about it , he spoke very highly of it.. he said it was better then momotaro and better then bio home + but the price is like... so i just bought little bit to try for my smaller tank.. actually frankly imo after trying many medias.. i can say that all medias are good... its just how u cultivate your bacteria... majority of my FGTs are all using 100% jap mat and i take very long to establish and cultivate my bacteria to a level where im happy and so far the jap matt is doing me well
